Buying Local

Hand Blown Glass Balls by Dan Mather
Snowflake by Josephine A. Geiger
My artist clients and I have been having fun greeting customers in my gallery and helping them select artful gifts for the holidays. Many of them make a point to tell us that they have decided this year to purchase gifts from small, local business and local artists. They recognize the centrality of small businesses to our economy and the vibrancy that local artist bring to our community. My customers are trendsetters. Buying local is becoming more popular everyday. If you fancy yourself as a trendsetter, patronize your local, small businesses this holiday season. And if you live in Minnesota, please visit my gallery in Studio 395 in the Northrup King Building, 1500 Jackson Street in northeast Minneapolis. We are open this Saturday, December 11 and next Saturday, December 18 from 12-4 p.m. and by appointment. Hope to see you at the gallery!
