This year, I am serving as an advisory committee member for the Art for Choice art and charity event on October 2, 2009 from 6:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. at the W Hotel in the Foshey Tower in Minneapolis. Art for Choice benefits Pro-Choice Resources, a non-profit organization that has been working for over 42 years to deliver sex education and health services to people throughout Minnesota.
Two of my clients, Joan Malkerson and Patrick Kemal Pryor have donated paintings for this fundraiser. Other artists participating in this event include Alec Soth, Michael Birawer, Jennifer Davis, Chris Mars and many more.
Bidding on the artwork starts at 1/3 of the art’s value and 100% of the profits go to fund Pro-Choice Resources needed services. I hope that you are able to join me for an evening of fabulous art, live music, food and cash bar.
